ABOUT ME
My wife and I have always loved Christmas; so much so that we stopped exchanging gifts long ago because it got in the way of the true meaning and fun of Christmas. Instead of buying each other gifts, we started giving anonymously to others. We just loved the feeling of Christmas: the decorations and lights, the music, the movies, the food, and of course the fellowship. We got back to more of what the real meaning of Christmas is and should be. After I retired, I let my beard grow and it seems what hair wasn’t turning loose was turning white. One day near Christmas for fun Marsha bought us Santa hats, a red one for me and a green one for her. While donning the hat a little girl came up to me, pulled on my pant leg, and proceeded to tell me what she wanted for Christmas. So began what has become a wonderful ten year journey as Santa.
